The largest percentage of help desk calls are username and password related. Using Ceelox ID will reduce the cost associated with these calls. The use of biometrics in combination with usernames and passwords provides the strongest authentication available today.

How does Ceelox ID™ work?

Ceelox ID™ enrolls a new user’s fingerprints by scanning two or more fingers several times. After obtaining sufficient data on each finger a biometric template is built. The user is notified when enrollment is successful. At subsequent user logons Ceelox ID prompts the user to place an enrolled finger on a fingerprint scanner. The software compares the data from this scan to the user’s data file. If the sets match the user is granted access. At no time is an image of the user’s fingerprint captured and stored. Only minutia points representing the user’s fingerprints are captured and used to create a unique biometric template. The chance of a false positive leading to unauthorized access is 10 to the 7th power.

Encryption of the data insures that even if the drive is removed from the biometric enclosure, laptop or desktop computer the data cannot be accessed.

How does Ceelox SecureMail™ work?

Ceelox SecureMail authenticates the sender by requesting one of four authentication preferences set by your company. These are:

• Password only
• Biometric fingerprint scan only
• User choice of fingerprint or password
• Both fingerprint and password required

Once Ceelox SecureMail authenticates the sender and encrypts the message your existing email system delivers it to the intended recipient. After the encrypted email is delivered and authenticated to the host database using one of the above four authentication modes the receiver is able to decrypt the text and/or attachment. The Ceelox SecureMail database stores the creation and destination information of each message for reporting and tracking purposes.

The Ceelox SecureMail Outlook plug-in easily integrates with existing email infrastructures. It deploys quickly, requires no ongoing administration and operates in conjunction with existing email transport systems. Users can send encrypted messages to anyone with an email address whether they use Ceelox SecureMail or not.

Ceelox K[id] enables child care providers to use secure fingerprint authenticarion to document arrivals and departures. Requires parent or guardian to authenticate their identity before picking up children
